TV presenter Lorraine Kelly has unveiled her new slimline figure after dropping a dress size.
Following her Virgin London Marathon run earlier this year the 50-year-old star stuck with her fitness routine and dropped from a size 14 to a 12.
She told Closer magazine that she feels more confident now she’s shed the pounds.
She said: “I feel much better when I’m this size, it’s lovely to be able to go to a shop and buy a size 12.
“I feel more energetic and confident. It’s taken me until the age of 50 to feel really happy in my body, which is extraordinary when you think about it. I’m never going to be uber-thin, it’s not how I’m meant to be, but I feel good the size I am.”
Lorraine, who presents GMTV, admitted she was pleased when she completed the race as she was not initially sure she would be able to.
Lorraine said: “I wanted to do something that would really test me, to see if my old knees could stand running another 26 miles! I managed it, and it was incredible, but afterwards you have to maintain the fitness, which isn’t quite so easy.”
She added: “I’m more organised about what I eat now. I’ll always have a banana in my bag and I plan my meals properly.”
